“When in Rome, do as the Romans do”…and I simply did.

In Trevi Fountain, I threw some coins like everyone did.  There is a promise of return if you do.  Then I walk to the Spanish stairs for more photos.  Its a beautiful, historical sight.  Everywhere you turn is like a romantic movie scene.  Maybe the word “romantic” came from Rome.  Not too far, also, is the perfect Pantheon.

History also hits the Colosseum which was built AD 72.  Watch the Gladiator movie before this and get inspired of its architecture.  Your imagination will run on gory fights between prisoners and gladiators.  Get a tour guide for more knowledge of the area.

On the other side is the Vatican City.  Wear clothes that will hide your elbows and knees on the side of town.  Its the law.  Not really, but you can’t get in most of the places.  Join a mass by the Pope himself at St. Peter’s Square.  Walk around the block for the Sistine chapel and let’s talk art, art and art.  Michael Angelo will be waiting for you.

Eat great Italian food at the Piazzas.  Grab authentic pizza and circle your forks on gastronomic pastas. Piazza del Polpolo and Piazza Navona are two of the most famous squares in town.
