Feel Free with Windsurfing.
The feel and scent of fresh ocean breeze is truly a nature’s wonder. There is no better way to enjoy this by playing surface water sport. Wind surfing is a popular sport in this category. To make this sport happen, there are four (4) things that need to be present.
Board- When you start windsurfing, you should go for a bigger, more stable board. Firstly, you require enough volume to ensure you stay afloat. On top of this, you need to factor in an element of ‘reserve volume’ to give extra stability when sailing.
Wind- You don’t need very much wind at all. As long as you can feel SOME wind on your skin, you will be able to move on your windsurf. 5 miles per hour (8 kph) is plenty of wind for basic windsurfing. That is much less than is required for kiteboarding. For fast windsurfing, it takes 10-15 mph. Beginners may have trouble windsurfing in more than 15 mph, but some experts can windsurf in extreme winds of 35 mph or more.
The most important to bring of all is yourself in your summer attire. Faint not if you are not ready for that glorious beach body. Windsurfing is a good work out. You always have to bend your legs similar to a squat for your bums. Turning the sail is a good exercise for the arms. Most importantly, your core is worked as you balanced yourself in the middle of the surf board.
It’s easy- Windsurfing has a great advantage in that you can make the learning environment ideal. To take your first steps in learning how to windsurf you usually go to a spot where there is flat water and light constant winds. Another thing that is great in windsurfing is that you get pretty much immediate results. Because you start off on a big board and a small sail you can be sailing back and forth with help in the first hour and on your own (and safely) in less than 5.
