The claim is to lose 5-10 lbs after finishing this 7day diet. Yes, it is true! If you follow it to the T.
I stand 5’4″ and my average weight for me is 120 lbs. My ideal weight is 115 lbs but my absolute ideal weight is 110 lbs. This is based on the Abs Diet book that I read years back. It could have been updated but I still follow these numbers. The book also states for me to get the 6 pack look, I must be 105 lbs. Most likely on my rest days, I stay on 115 lbs. When I get to 120 lbs, I get alarmed and I go on a Master Cleanse to lose 5-7 lbs right away. It’s quite a drastic method and we can read so much bad reviews but not heRE Garcinia Cambogia Reviews . So I just do this for 5 days. Nonetheless, I like the feeling of getting “cleaned out” inside and having less preparation/thinking for my meals. As a petite girl, losing 2 lbs and gaining 2 lbs make a lot of difference in my look.
Day 1
I started to weigh in at 115.2 lbs. Not a bad start to get a kick start towards my ideal weight. The assigned food for the day are only fruits. I started with grapes in the morning and followed by my fave fruits. Hello ripe mangoes! For dinner, I had papaya and melons. It has to be a bit heavy to last me the next day. All fruits are ok except avocados and bananas. Snacking is not a prob. Take fresh orange juice and fresh coco juice.
Day 2
Eat only vegetables for this day. Nope, it’s not that hard. I started with sweet potato and sliver of butter. Yum! Butter is allowed. Salt, pepper, spices are also allowed. I felt satisfied in the morning. I also prepared potato and green salad with olive oil and vinegar. I did snack with sweet potato and carrots.
Day 3
I weighed in again and lost 2 lbs. My weight is 113.8 lbs. On this day, eat both your fruits and vegetables. I had fruits for brekky, baked potato for lunch and salad for dinner. Snack with fruits or sweet potato.
Day 4
Today, eat those bananas! 6-8 regular sized bananas are ok. The food that are allowed on this day are bananas, milk, and cabbage soup. Your snack could be a banana milk shake. Btw, milk has to be skimmed. I used almond milk.
Day 5
This day consists of beef and tomatoes only. I had bun-less burger for brekky, lunch and dinnah! This is with cherry tomatoes on the side. I ate out for dinner and ordered me a ribeye burger. Delish!
Day 6
I weighed in at 111.8 lbs. Wow, I’m losing weight! For this day, eat beef and veggies. This is not a hard meal to prepare since my regular diet consists of 4hour diet. I ate steak and loads of broccoli plus asparagus on this day. I had 4 meals instead of snacking in between.
Day 7
Hooray! You are soon to be a graduate of the GM diet. You get to add starch for this day. Brown rice appears to be part of every meal with loads of veggies and fruits for snacks or desserts. Hello yellow mangoes and fresh orange juice again!
Day 8
I gained weight! 12.2 lbs. It could be that from Day 6, I had marinated beef instead of salt and pepper only. Also, my hormonal cycle is beginning to take place. I have a feeling of bloatedness and inflammation in certain areas. In total, I lost only 3.6 lbs instead of the 5-10 lbs claim. Again, I made a few mistakes myself and my hormonal cycle is due. Also, I am not on the heavy side but on the petite side (small size) already when I started.
Lastly, there was a before photo of 115.8 lbs but I failed to save it. There were not so significant differences between the photos as I recall. Although, my tummy has more significant lines. Still not enough for a 6 pack photo shoot btw.
What happens after this?
GM diet is only for 7 days and is not recommended to be a cycle. It is quite tempting though. For me, I go back to my 4hour diet for this day.
