Heads Up is a Beach Ultimate event for fun Ultimate players. This tourney is held in Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar in Bagac,Bataan, Philippines. The first Heads Up started last December 2012 and just had its second Heads Up this June 8-9 2013.

What makes this beach tourney different? You will simply be in awe at this living museum of 18th -20th century Spanish houses that were restored brick by brick. The vicinity currently has 27 Castilian houses, a hotel, a pool, beach front, satisfying and delectable in house restaurants (Filipino and Italian), kalesa (horse with carriage) ride, jeepney ride, golf cart ride. It is a heritage park worth visiting.

Ultimate games begin on a Saturday morning. The beach faces South China Sea and is recommended for swimming and a mellow surfing. The waves are quite unpredictable but they don’t go very high. Wind surfing and Stand Up Paddle board should be fun too.

The games run all day and until night time. Last game ends at 8pm and is powered by ample lighting from the field. There is a 2-3 hour break in the afternoon which is called “Sobrang Init break (SIB)” – Super hot break. The sand gets brutally hot in the mid afternoon. It is highly recommended to wear beach socks. Yes, it is possibly to get 1st degree burns under your soles.

During the SIB(Sobrang Init Break), the fun does not stop. Lunch is served at this banquet place covered by a colorful umbrella. Lunch is inclusive of the tourney fee! Yet if you want to chow more, the Italian restaurant is right beside the luncheon area. The pizza is oven baked and simply gastronomic.

Games go on after “SIB”. It usually starts back at 3 pm and goes on until the last 8pm game. This is perfect timing to rest, go around the vicinity or mingle with friends.

Unlimited beer is served starting five pm and players could start drinking at the beach front. Party on a Saturday night with a reggae band that has funny antics followed by a DJ that spins party music.
