A fun European Christmas tradition that started in Germany called Christkindlmarkt (Christmas Market) is now here in Manila. You can find it easy by the skating rink of SM Mall of Asia. If you haven’t finished your Christmas list or simply wanting to enjoy this European tradition, it’s here until Dec 9(Sunday). They offer amusing live shows and movies at their European inspired stage. Never a dull moment!
Celebrate the month of Christmas with one of Europe’s tradition where kids and kids at heart would enjoy 25 days of gift giving. Everyday a kid receives trinkets from their folks. Who doesn’t like presents?
If you enjoy European desserts, it’s an event to visit. Try their French Macarons from French baker. They have assorted flavors but my personal favorite is the orange flavored one. Their orange macaron has the zest of real orange with some chocolate drizzle. On the next few stalls is Bonbenniere specialty homemade chocolates. These chocolate pieces were handmade carefully using Belgian chocolate.
If social drinking gets you started, head forward to this Christmas market. Find special deals on different selection of wines and non-alcoholic drinks. A special treat is given to passersby of the Johnnie Walker booth. Aside from their beautiful models, there is a bartender that will serve you doubla black or a blue label whiskey.
Many more great deals are found here. Huge discounts that runs from 5% to 40% can be asked from every store. There are also buy1, take 1 items to enjoy. Some of the participating stalls accepts credit cards but mostly bringing cash is recommended. Last but not the least and my favorite thing to get are the free samples from every participant.
