All worth the hike when you see the beautiful color of Mt. Pinatubo’s crater
Trekking Mt.Pinatubo is an experience I’m happy to have tried. From Manila, drive towards Mt. Pinatubo at dawn. It is a 2 and half hour drive or you could arrange to be driven. Get dropped off at the Information Center were you will organize fees and your personal tour guides. The nature fee and tour guide fee is cheap and leaves room for your tips. Just in case you like their service.
Wear outfits that will protect you from scratches. Bring water and food. You can take your lunch around the crater. BYOL. Bring your own lunch. The sun maybe warm so protect yourself with an SPF of at least 30.
A 4×4 car will take you to the foot of the mountain. From here, the trekking starts. Experience different sorts of land and soil. This is from rocky, to dry ground, to wet grounds, to climbing up branches and to jumping over hurdles of rock. Then the beautiful view of its crater!
